Sweet technology!! How nice it is to finally be on a computer again, even if for only 15 minutes!! Air-conditioning is nice too! I have been living in a hot stinky dorm room for 3 weeks now, and have to make it through one more week before I get back to my own room and air-conditioning and computer again. I have to go back to class soon to continue work on my final project--which is going to be displayed in a gallery. I'm in the Ithaca (I spelled it wrong in the earlier journal, sorry) College Library right now at a public access computer with my roommate. NYSSSA has been AWESOME, and when I get home, I'm going to need to get a photo printer and Photoshop (which is gonna be a huge dent in my wallet....). Apparently, these P.A. computers have NO outside stuff, so I can't scan some stuff I made, so you'll have to wait for 8 or 9 days to see my stuff. My teacher told me that I've improved, so I hope I really have gotten noticeably better...That'll be up to you to decide! This is one of my longest journals ever, wow. The computers we work on during class don't have P.A. internet, and I'd need to have an Ithaca college email address and password in order to access it, which is just plain stupid. 3 of my friends have computers, but I don't wanna be a bum and mooch, so I've been trying to find a computer like this one to use. We watch A LOT of movies for being in a photo class. Today, we watched a movie about people who live in Appalachia. It was interesting, but one of the girls in the movie had REALLY bad teeth (like, scary half-rotted gums and fangs all over the place) and it started to really creep me out. Yesterday we went to the Eastman House, home of the man who founded Kodak. I thought it'd be more camera-history oriented, but it was just a big house with gardens and elephant heads, so I got bored really quickly...oops. It's really quiet and peaceful here, and it was nice for the first few days, but now I just wanna get off campus and DO SOMETHING. I feel really non-productive and incredibly detached from any outside things. It would be nice to interact with outside material to do work and get inspiration...So yeah. I get picked in in about 8 days, and I should be home in 9 since the day after I get picked up is visiting day at my brother's camp. This journal is getting exceedingly long, so I will end it now. "My work is done, why wait?"
